Resizing Your Picture

It is best to keep your pictures about 650 pixels in width so they fit nicely on the screen and they are faster to download/display. One easy way to do this is to set your digital camara to take pictures at a lower resolution close to what you want. This also allows you to take more pictures with the same camera memory card. Free Photo Processing Software

You may already have some useful programs for making changes to your pictures that came with your computer. For example, HP offers Photosmart and Sony Vaio comes with professional-level photo processing tools.

Other free-to-download photo processing software include Picasa from Google, FxFoto.
