But I remember it was 1962, when I was only 18, that I entered 中興大學應數系. Of all those courses I took, it was your English course that had such a profound influence on me. Thinking back, it was not the course content per se, but the way you approach teaching and learning and the way you motivate and encourage students. I will say it again, I am most grateful that I had the good fortune having had you as a teacher/mentor. </p><p> Later at 中興, we initiated the 常青社 (Evergreen Association) for learning and speaking English and you were our faculty adviser. You suggested that we put on a one-act play in English and that was a big event for all involved. These are just some of the found memories. </p><p> The book you sent is going to be a treasure of mine. </p><p> I have three children: Laura (73), Deborah (87), and David (91). My wife Jennifer is a great lady and we are a happy family. </p><p> I will send pictures to you by Air Mail. But I am eager to get a message back to you ASAP.
